Soxpert: Lindsay Jacobellis

Lindsey Jacobellis

Arguably the most dominant snowboardcross rider in the business, Lindsey Jacobellis started at age 11 racing snowboardcross at a local event held at Stratton Mountain. Jacobellis was first invited to compete in the X Games at the age of 15, and 2011 marked yet another year of her taking down wins left and right. Known for being very competitive and loving her sport, Jacobellis has enjoyed seeing the sport grow just as she has and is happy to be a part of it. Jacobellis marked yet another X Games gold medal in 2011 marking a four-peat to make herself the most winningest female in winter X Games history. Add to that yet another gold medal at World Championships – her third – and three World Cup wins, it’s safe to say Jacobellis is still looking at the rest of the field in her rear view mirror.
